Brilliant piece! The part about the glaciologist enabling the event while fighting climate change is such a perfect contradiction. That millennial collector shift from provenance to experiance is spot-on too. Saw this at a local cars&coffee where a kid drove his dad's restored 911 hard instead of babying it and the old guard was scandalized

Unfortunate name for the times we live in. Turned me off TBH and confess couldn’t read past the first para. Too soon.

It was scheduled and forgot about it as the event is happening this weekend. I've updated the title to the full name and anyone who knows me and follows me on socials knows I've been struggling with the international news and have been vocal about it so I understand teh sentiment. But please don't assume the worst of everyone, and I also will not stop using a word that was created out of hatred just a few months ago. They've already taken so much. But again I understand completely.

Appreciate the reply. I wasn’t assuming worst of everyone. I found it clumsy at worst. I have zero doubts you sit in the same side of the fence as most people on this whole madness taking over the world at the moment.

It is kind of weird reading the news and sm timelines concerned about the absolute abuse of power by the ICE and then having this in the mailbox. Maybe you could reschedule this newsletter. It might be not the right time

yep I understand. It was scheduled and forgot about it as the event is happening this weekend. I've updated the title to the full name (although to be clear the I.C.E st Moritz is the actual name of the event and not some messed up title I gave my newsletter) and anyone who knows me and follows me on socials knows I've been struggling with the international news and have been vocal about it so I understand teh sentiment. Weather anchors have also been asked not to use the words 'Ice storms' recently to describe literal ice storms so I don't know I'm a little at a loss.
