This is a GEM for us creators Toni, would love to know more from you and you experience how to get going paid partnerships/projects, especially outside race weekends or “peak moments” Thank you for this piece!

This makes me so happy Alba - and happy I could help shed some light on this. Noted on this question and I'll have a think about any best practices or insights I can share. The next piece/video will be focused on prepping for these weekends.

The best advice though - is keep creating your content and building that portfolio, show up at events and tell the stories no one else is telling and really identify who your audience is.

When it comes to speaking for a panel in F1/Tech events, do you apply for the time or are you invited?

Both to be honest. When I started in this space and in tech I would pitch myself to all the conferences I wanted to speak at but often they will only invite people with big audiences, a track record or c-suite execs. So make sure you build a portfolio and online presence so people can see what you can do. These days the invites are inbound - this is where networking is so important and ensuring you are always top of mind for the event organisers.

This is such an amazing article with a very experienced perspective and good pro-tips. Btw, you did mispell Aston Martin (under the Speaking Gigs section); just bringing that up FYSA in case that brand is sensitive to those things as some brands are
